The artist jetpack newsletter has become such an important part of my life as an artist , and I so appreciate your being here. I write for everyone, but now offer paid subscribers access to online meetups, make along chats, interviews and exclusive invites to online workshops. I recognise there is a need for a more intimate place to connect beyond the newsletter. If you would like to be a part of a smaller circle of ageless artists, please join us! if you are 50+ and making art or someone who is interested in expanding your art practise ..

Although it’s been fantastic to read your comments in my newsletters over the past year and a half-I know there are a few of you who would like to connect further . Some of you know me from my online art classes and mixed media portrait calls group over the years. Some of you are artist friends and we have tumbled into each others lives along the way. I also celebrate the years of knowledge and life experience we all have to offer one and other. I am thankful the internet offers us a means of connecting without having to physically travel -and online classes ,workshops and meetups have become much more common and an antidote to isolation.

With all of this swirling in my head I believe this could be an opportunity to connect with our creative peers -to support each other and offer some interesting and meaningful artistic experiences . Some of us need a nudge to create more or break out of a rut. sometimes we just require the acknowledgement that our worlds are changing quickly and where do we fit in as a working or practising artist ?
