Substack was mentioned briefly on the Artjuice podcast last week in regard to sending emails and newsletters. Louise Fletcher said the problem for her was artists weren’t on this platform.
Yes I imagine Louise is content with her format and ways to reach out to her people at this juncture . I think artist presence is growing on Substack - especially for those who are tired of ever changing rules in social media and algorithms - for me it’s a sense of community and opportunity for enhanced communication . I guess it all depends on how you use it and your individual intention .
This is so true, I found going on that art tour really inspired me. I miss the socialization pre pandemic days, though I should join the local sketch group again ;) ...

There are lots of illustrators so far and as a few artists I greatly admire are here it encourages me ! :-)
